Vive Latino 2019

PROCESS
I was brought on board with Circo de Bakuza to create animated hand animations for Vive Latino 2019’s Festival visuals. Using a modified version of “Luminosity” in TouchDesigner, we were on-location in Mexico creating a live mix of the visuals we prepared, mixing live-feed camera footage with pre-made VJ loops.

I created realistic animated renders of Hands holding the “VL” pose. The animations were done in Autodesk Maya, and rendered with Arnold.

These assets were then brought into Notch to create a last-minute animation with lighting that was coordinated to a firework show. Thanks to Notch’s real-time environment, we were able to deliver on this request the night before.
